Hyperlinks Bug

T

"When in FP 2003 (Win XP) in Folders View I select a .HTM file and
click
the Hyperkinks button at the bottom of the screen, here's what happens:

"First, the selected page is shown in the normal Hyperlinks view. (If
it
would stop here, I'd be happy.)

"But second, a moment later that is replaced by the Hyperlinks View for

index.htm.

"Why does FP 2003 do this? FP 2000 behaved as I have come to expect,
where the selected page's links to and fro were shown upon clicking the

Hyperlinks button and then the display stopped, as you would expect. "

I have this same problem. Is there a fix or work-around?

I can't reproduce it.
Try recalculating hyperlinks and then see what happens.

Yes. i have tried recalculating and it does not help.

This happens once, then works properly.

Initializing the hyperlinks view does a "reset" of the folder list view
- thereafter you can drill down back to the file OK

I don't see the "bug" at all..

There are times that I have a page open then go to the hyperlinks (at the
bottom) and only see the page for a few seconds and then I am switched to
"what ever is highlighted" in the "folder list" on the left... I then
select the page in the folder list that I want to see the links going to and
it centers that page in the window.

The next time this happens look to the left and see if the "index.htm" is
highlighted in the folder list...
If so just highlight the page you need. Should work...
