Hyperlinks Dissappear

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I close my powerpoint presentation, all hyperlinks disappear. Very frustrating. I'm getting close to finishing something I need to submit for school. HELP SOON! Thank you.

How are you creating your hyperlinks? Are you using action settings?
Are you inserting hyperlinks?
What are you saving your presentation as...pptx, ppt, ppsx, pps?

Does this happen on a brand new presentation or just on this
particular presentation?

Are these hyperlinks to URLs or to different slides in the
presentation (or something else)?

And just making sure...you are using Office 2004 or 2008?
