Hyperlinks don't work in e-mails.

I recently switched from AOL Broadband to RoadRunner. I use Internet Explorer
6.0 for web browsing and Outlook Express 6.0 for e-mail. If I receive an
e-mail with a hyperlink in it, nothing at all happens if I click on it. In
addition, since my switch to roadrunner, I've noticed a new icon in my System
Tray. It looks like a double helix and looks like it is moving due to the
colors on it changing from red to blue. When I hover the arrow on my mouse
over it, it brings up the message "Protecting Your Email Configuration - Last
Identity Changed". Clicking on the icon does nothing. It only appears when
signed-in to E-mail, not Internet Explorer. Does anyone know what this icon
is and if it could this be causing my hyperlinks not to work?

In IE, click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings

Could be some add-in you installed with Road Runner's package (which you
really don't need).
