Hyperlinks gone crasy!!!!!

I have a table of contents and each item in the table of contents is a
hyperlink. But after a assgned all the hyperlinks I closed the page and when
I tried to open it with internet explorer, each of the hyperlinks opened the
page that should be opened by the one before it! I tried to remove the
hyperlinks and assign them again and I discovered that after removing one
hyperlink I encountered another hyperlink assigned to the same text! I did
this three time! (and there are 88 of the) I'm going crasy! What is the
matter with it?

Did you create this TOC manually, or is this an automatic TOC? From your
statement that you "assigned the hyperlinks," I suspect the former. Why not
use an automatic TOC? It will create the hyperlinks automatically, and they
