hyperlinks in contents frame won't open in main frame

I keep setting hyperlinks in the contents frame to open
in the main frame, but any hyperlinks I set open in the
contents frame. The main frame is set as the default for
hyperlinks as well. Any ideas how I can get hyperlinks
in my contents frame to open in the main frame?
