Hyperlinks in Outlook

I am having trouble getting my hyperlinks to work when they are sent in outlook. I have created a document in microsoft word and converted it to HTML. I then copy it into an Outlook e-mail. All the hyperlinks work in the e-mail preview. However, when i send the e-mail, the hyperlinks stop working. The hyperlinks currently are in a text box, but i have tried to send them in a table as well with the same result. Any answers?
