Hyperlinks in Word xp

dear all
if i insert a hyperlink into a word file - the file is on
another drive like J:\ - the following problem occurs:

if i send this wordfile to a email-receipent, it changes
the path to C:\ - it seems like it takes the file which is
saved on the temp-folder on C:\.

does anyone had this problem also ?
i've searched the whole internet but haven't found an
answer.
