WD2003. I haven't been able to replicate this because it works fine for me.
A colleague added hyperlinks to network files in a document. They worked
fine in format File:///\\server\folder\subfolder\file.doc. Then she emailed
the doc as an attachment and the hyperlinks changed to File:///Cocuments &
Settings\recipient-username\local settings\file.doc.
The pattern seems to be that they work for her if she copies the file path
into the Address field of the Insert-Hyperlink dialogue box but not if she
uses the Look-in navigator pane. Is something broken so I should run Detect &
Repair, or is it a setting I haven't found under Tools > Options? Or perhaps
something else?
