hyperlinks no longer work

I have a large word document containing many hyperlinks. It worked fine until
recently. However, every time I try to click one of the hyperlinks i get the
message "The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on
your computer. Please contact your systems administrator". Mine is the only
user account on the computer and therefore I am the administrator.

Has anyone come across this problem, and if so do they have a solution. I am
using Office 2007 and Windows XP.

the article addresses Outlook, the suggested solution should work
for Word too.

I was a bit sceptical at the suggested solution as nearly all the links were
to other parts of the Word Document. However, I followed the instructions and
bingo it all works again.

sometimes worth exactly what you pay for it, so you were wise to
proceed with caution.
