Did anyone else download the latest microsoft update that specifically
"fixes" the lost hyperlink problem...only to find that hyperlinks are
still lost everytimeyou close powerpoint?

Things are working well for me. All hyperlinks work -- and keep working even
after quitting the application.

I wish I was having the same success. But my hyperlinks are forgotten
the second I close Powerpoint. What are you guys able to hyperlink
successfully? I am just trying to put in shortcut actions buttons to
link between different slides in the same presentation. I keeps them as
long as powerpoint is open...but loses them as soons a powerpoint
closes. Any thoughts?

I found that slide presentations I had created before "the troubles" were
cured by Microsoft's Office 11.3 update. Presentations I had created (or
updated) during "the troubles" needed to be re-linked. All of them now work
perfectly -- as they well should.

Well this is indeed a mystery:

If I create a new presentation with hyperlinks, then those links are
saved.

However, it will not save the links in my existing slide shows. Even if
I copy all the existing slides into a new presentation...it will save
links on any new slide I create...but will not save them on the copied
slides (even if I insert new action buttons).

Suggestions??

Hi Matt,

How was this resolved?

I have been holding off updating past 11.2.3 until I know this bug was fixed.

Thanks,
Bill
