Hyperlinks to an updated website

I need to create a hyperlink to a web site that provides
live data (meaning it is up to the minute information).

I am using the HYPERLINK function =HYPERLINK
("Website","Live Report")

It displays the words "Live report" in the cell like it
is supposed to. But it will not go to the web site. By
the way, this is an example...I do actually have a site
address in for that portion of the function.

If I go to the site directly (not using the HYPERLINK
function) then it works fine. After I have been there the
HYPERLINK function will go there but only to the page I
have been before. It will not let me pull the live
information.

I don't understand this...please help.

P.S. I know you are going to ask if I am using the
address that displays in the address bar through
explorer. No, I use the address in order to pull the live
data...not after the live data is displayed.

I hope I haven't made things more confusing.

Have you looked at Data/Get External Data/New Web Query? I think that is
more likely to do what you want than HYPERLINK.
