Hyperlinks to other web site Pages doesn't work

I created a web page with Front Page 2000. All works fine on the
computer were I created the web page. The web site and all the
web pages show in the C drive under "My Documents/My Webs .
There is a list of the various pages in the left border.
( Each Page hyperlinks go to the various pages just fine)

I then publish to the web page folder and thence do a FTP to
the host server ( Comcast). The Hyperlinks then do not lead to
the associated web page. The properties show a connection path
to the C file where the original web page was created. I can't
seem to get the hyperlink to point to the correct page on the web
host.

Any help and suggestions are highly appreciated.

When creating a web page, you must first have a web open: File | Open web

Dear Tom:

Thanks . I do have the web page open in Front Page when I created
the Hyperlinks in the shared borders. They also show as hyperlinks
on the Navigation page and the Hyperlinks page. The Shared borders
is showing the hyperlink to the web site under My Webs on my C drive.
That all works fine on my computer and the hyperlink works fine
on my local computer ( the target is the file in my web folder).

The Hyperlinks merely don't work on the hosting web site ( Comcast)
I made sure that Front Page Extensions are implemented on the
web page at Comcast. The one oddity that I noted is that the reference
on the web site is still to the original web listed on my C drive..

View Reports Problems Broken Links
If any links show "file...." those pages are not in your FP web
Use File Import to import those pages and recreate your links
