hyperlinks

After creating an excel worksheet with hyperlinks to jpg
files elsewhere on the computer, I check the hyperlinks
and they work beautifully. I then save the worksheet and
the hyperlinks go dead. They just don't work. What gives?
How do I overcome this difficulty? BTW, this is a problem
only on my new PC. Others with the same programme - XP
Pro - don't have this problem. On every other computer
I've tried, the hyperlinks work fine even after saving
the worksheet. How do I overcome this problem?

Make sure the path is fully qualified, ie. C:\whereever\test.jpg. Using
relative paths could account for it not working at times. I've done
something similar before and it's been ok (Excel 2000)
