Hyperlinks

I have many hyperlinks on my website that work just fine and never get any
problems from them. But I have others that I get inquiries from site users
saying they do not show up on their computer. EX on this page
http://snowbirdhelper.com/mobile_homes_in_arizona.htm
On the far right in the column titled "Details" you should see a hyperlink
that says "details". This will take you to the ad. In some cases I think
people that are using pop up ad blockers are not seeing this. But why would
these hyperlinks be affected but not others on site. For ex on same this
page http://snowbirdhelper.com/mobile_homes.htm
under Mobile Homes for sale. All of the states listed are hyperlinks, but
have never gotten compliant from anyone of not being able to see them. Why
would ad blocking software effect some hyperlinks and not others on the same
website.

1) What browsers are they using?
2) Are you using popups?

Some popup blockers may not open anything in folders named Ads
- rename your folder to Details

Just want to make sure I understand. The folder I will be renaming is
actually a subweb. So if I rename it all pages in the subweb will be found?

S

Stefan B Rusynko

No

Links from a root web to a subweb are external links and FP does not manage them
Either
- convert the subweb to a folder, rename it, and then convert it back to a subweb again, or
- rename the subweb and then in the root web do a search & replace (all pages / in html) for the old folder name

Isn't there are easier way. I am afraid when I convert to folder and back I
will get a problem that I got when I first did this and it took weeks to
straight out. Site would not publish correctly.

Should not create problems
- note: on localhost and some online servers (not on disc based webs) it is best to use the FP Se Admin to create / convert subwebs
