Hyperlinks

I opened a document that was created in word 2000, and
opening it in word 2002. All the hyperlinks are broken
why how do I fix?

The link is there but when you click on the link it does
not move within the document to the link... but if it is
opened in Word 2000 it does work correctly....why would
they break within Word 2002.
