Hyphenation, where is it in word 2008

I just got through recreating an item that is to appear like a newspaper
clipping. This includes Column with line separator and name of Paper
with Date.

I notice there is no way to hyphenate justified text. (or I can find it.)

Spacing in words is very ragged, without justification and Hyphenation.

I ended up having to crank up Word 2004.

Am I overlooking something or did MS overlook something?

Can you tell me where the Hyphenation item is shown (images above).

Looks to me like your Tools menu is pooched... Spelling & Grammar isn't even
there & the other Proofing tools are missing as well. Try going to the
Customize Toolbars & Menus dialog, select the Menu Bar by clicking on its
name then hit the Reset button. If that doesn't fix it confirm that you have
the latest (12.2.3) update applied for Office, complete update for you
flavor of OS X & that you've repaired disk permissions.
