Hyplinks Don't Update.

I have a number of files that have tasks created using hyperlinks for the
start and finish dates from tasks in other project files.
In project 2003 this worked fine and everytime one of the links changed in
one file the other file would update with the new information.
However since I have switched to project 2007 the hyperlinks have stopped
updating.
If I reestablish the links it will work until the files are closed and then
it seems the links are lost.
Has anyone else had this problem and can suggest a solution.

Hello Bob,

I assume by "hyperlinks" you mean that you have created linked fields
through the Paste Special command? I can't think of any particular
reason why it would stop working in Project 2007 if it works correctly
in Project 2003. To the best of my knowledge that feature has not
been modified.

That being said however, paste links are renown for being fragile and
prone to corrupting project files.

Have you considered creating a master project and linking the *task*
predecessors and successors instead of paste linking?
