I accidently made duplicates of all PIM data on Outlook 2002 Help

After installing the new Active Sync 4.1 I synced my Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC
with my desktop. I first had to create a new partnership with my PDA which
already had the same information e.g. calanders, contacts, tasks, etc. as my
desktop Outlook 2002 PIM. I selected for unresolved conflicts "replace all
items on my device". Anyway after the partnership was completed I synced my
device and got just what I was trying to avoid: duplicates of all PIM data on
my PDA and on Outlook 2002. There is no way I can see manually deleting each
duplicate contact, appointment, task, etc. on my desktop and device. Isn't
there some kind of third party software program that takes care of
duplicates? Any answers, assistance, suggestions would be very much
appreciated as I am sick to my stomach just thinking about having to manually
delete thousands of items.
