I always have to reset Office 2000 quick link toolbar?

Everytime I boot up I have to reset my Office 2000 quick links toolbar to the right side of my desktop screen. (otherwise it doesn't come up) How can I get it to stay there after I shut down the PC? (I'm running WIN XP Pro.)
