I am about to Delete last version of Microsoft Office - Need help

I want to install my new Microsoft Office 2007 in my PC that carries Windows
XP. But first I want to uninstall the last version.

Question: In looking at the list on Remove/Add, I have Microsoft Office
Small Business edition 2003. Before deleting it, I want to make sure I have
the original installation disc should I run into any problem. I do have the
Microsoft Office XP standard for students and teachers version 2002. Is that
the business edition?
I just can't locate my Business edition 2003 copy.

No, Office XP is the 2002 edition. Student & Teachers Editions and Small Business Editions are also separate products within each
product series (XP/2002 and 2003).

Windows XP is your operating system not Office.
Office XP for Students and Teachers is not a qualifying product for Office
2007 upgrade version. See:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101754511033.aspx

If your Office 2007 is an upgrade version, you will need to have your Office
Small Business 2003 CD or one of the other qualifying products listed above
available is you uninstall Office 2003 prior to installing Office 2007
upgrade version. You will also need a qualifying product is you ever need to
re-install the Office 2007 upgrade {say to a replace drive or new computer}.

If you just install Office 2007 upgrade without uninstalling Office 2003,
your Office 2003 installation will be the qualifying product. During
installation, the installation program will uninstall all of the Office 2003
application that are contained in your Office 2007 edition. Any remaining
you can uninstall manually, but you will need the Office 2003 CD to do so.
Note: you will need the same Office 2003 CD if you try to uninstall Office
2003 SB edition prior to installing Office 2007. Any Office 2003 Small
Business Edition CD will do, does not need to be the one used to originally
to install.

If I recall correctly, Office 2003 Business was OEM only {could be wrong}.
An OEM installation could explain why you cannot find the CD. If your Office
2003 Business was retail {perhaps even if OEM, if you luck out with
Microsoft} the following may help:
