I am geeting this Error Please Help

Hi Guyz

When the timesheet updates are included in the project plan and when the
project plan publishes the changes i recieve the following error

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot insert duplicate key
row in object 'MSP_RESOURCE_BASELINES' with unique index
'I_MSP_RESOURCE_BASELINES'

from the error i was able to figure out that the Project 2003 was trying to
insert a duplicate record into MSP_RESOURCE_BASELINES table which has a
unique index 'I_MSP_RESOURCE_BASELINES' but how does this happen. is this a
bug in Project 2003 or is the project plan corrupted. is there any fix for
the problem. please advice

Raja-

It appears as though someone copied and pasted within your project schedule
in Project Pro. If you copy the whole row by clicking on the far left gray
box for that row, you actually copy the unique ID for that task and duplicate
it in your project schedule. You will need to delete the tasks you copied
like that and then copy from the task name to the right manually so you do
not pick up the task unique ID.

hi Kevin,

it was no copy paste problem.The problem was with the baselines
i had a old baseline that was not used. i deleted the baseline from the
project plan, and the project got saved without any issues
