I am getting a not responding message ... too much saving?

This is happening all the time when i use one note and it seems to me that on
a
2 gig computer this is just something to do with how much/how often the
save settings are in one note. i have tried to find info on this but have had
no luck. Any suggestions?

You can try blowing away your cache folder. If you have any un-synchronized
changes in any shared notebooks though, make sure they are all up to date
first.

To get to the cache folder, open Tools -> Options -> Save. Make note of the
cache folder shown there, open it in Windows Explorer (after closing
OneNote) and delete any files in there.

You might also check to see if background indexing is turned on. Maybe
something is messed up with that and causing your issues. That would be
located in the "Audio and Video" and "Other" sections of the options.
