I am having trouble with Access can somebody help

I am running Access 2000 with Service Pack 3 latest SP
applied today AFTER I found problem. My problem is this
when I start my contacts database I get an error which
is "project application Visual Basic for Applications in
database is damaged" Any help is appreciated because I am
dead without access to this database, excuse the pun

Paul,

I would tend to believe the message that you are getting. If
the VBA dll's have been damaged, you could run sfc.exe
(win98/me/xp???/2000???), scandisk, defrag and if they don't
work, uninstall and reinstall Access.
