Immanuel,

You either need to get a CD from the original equipment manufacturer, if it
was pre-installed, or try the full-file patches that are available for
people who don't have the original CDs.

I tried that too. It ended up in asking for cd again. I am using the preload
IBM think pad. So I followed all methods in the office troubleshoot.in the
Method 7. when I tried to run the Windows Installer cleanup utility this
error message is shown. MSICUU- Runtime error 2147024882(8007000e) system
error&H80004005(-2147467259)unspecified error. After this I closed everything
and restarted then the windows Installer cleanup utility is removed. Then I
tried to update SP3 it say no previous version. It ask to reinstall. But in
the Programe file in that office10 is it says only for the current user it is
not reistalled. So I used the restore point to come back to the previos
position. Is there any soultion for this. Immanuel

Hi, Immanuel,

You need to get a CD from IBM or whoever supplied the PC.

The Windows Installer Utility removes Windows Installer entries related to
Office, but you then have to re-install Office. To do that, you will need a
CD or some other source media.
