I am not receiving incoming ISP emails in Outlook

I have an ISP account that I currently access through the internet. However,
I want to start accessing through Outlook. I have created the email account
in Outlook 2003. I can actually send emails but I am not able to pick up my
current emails in that account to view. So nothing is being received in
Outlook.
Can't seem to find anything about this in either Outlook help or my ISP help.
Thanks

What mail servers and ports have they told you to use? What, if any, error
messages do you see then you try to receive?

Hi Brian,
As I turns out, I went back into Outlook as my husband sent something and I
clicked on the Send/receive button and saw that all the messages were being
processed. It took about 8 minutes to process about 325 messages from my
mailbox. But they are in now. Unfortunately they are all marked unopen! But
I have them.
