I am trying to change the font color and can't!!!

I am writing an email and trying to change the font color and can't.

It does not give me the capability.

Help!

I'm pretty sure you checked this but I'll ask anyway... you're using HTML or
Rich Text format for the mail since Plain Text email items don't allow for
colors, etc.
