I am trying to create a database in Excel 2004 for Mac

Hi,

Im trying to create a database, and I can't seem to figure it out. I
have all the fields, but one of the fields is always going to be longer
than one sentence. It may even be like a page long. How do I create a
database that works that way, and still works with the query function?

For example, if the fields I have are: Movie Title, Date Released, and
Summary. Summary is of course going to be much longer. I remember
being able to use Microsoft Access back in the day to do stuff like
that...is there something I'm missing?

Thanks for anyone who has the ability to get me out of this mess.

Sincerely,

Mazen

Hi,

Some database formats are not happy if you use more than 224 characters
in a text field. Others accommodate larger text entries.

With regard to Excel, if you search for the word
specifications
in Excel help you'll find that each Excel cell can have 32,767
characters of text (only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in
the formula). You can adjust a column's width up to 255 characters wide.
