I am trying to paste text from the internet to a word document.

I'm glad to see that I am not the only person having this problem. However,
has anyone found out exactly what is causing this error? Has anyone found a
solution to this error?

"The internet" covers a lot of ground. Do you mean that you're copying text
using MS Internet Explorer and trying to paste it into Word?

If so... what version of Word? Is it just text, or does it include graphics
or other non-text elements?

What happens when you paste into Word? Does Word crash? Does the text simply
not appear?

What if you try Edit - Paste Special - Unformatted text? Does the problem
still occur?

Any problems pasting into other Office applications? What about into Notepad
or Wordpad? Problems there, too?

Hard to know what to suggest until you tell us what "error" you're
getting...
