I am typing but there is no text on the message

I use Outlook 2003 I have a signature I have specified my font color
as blue
I wanted to edit my signature
My name and email are there in blue ( this is my original signature)

I inserted a couple other lines in between ( address and phone) this new
test I notice is black....... so I say OK and then I select NEW for a new
message
I notice the test I addessin the signature is not there and any text I try
to type is also not there I still see the font colore is blue ...but
nothing I type is there ..the cursor moves but I see nothing help ?
