i can not anything with my keyboard

i installed OneNote 2003 SP1 (trial) but i can not anything with my keyboard
on my desktop. none of the keyboard's keys work.

Have you activated the trial version?

What exactly doesn't work? You can't click and type? You can't use KB
shortcuts? Make sure you have the "Type/Selection" tool selected from the
Standard toolbar.

I have the same problem. When I installed the trial version I was supplied
with a key-code by email. I duly inserted this but each time I open onenote
it asks if I want to activate the product. When I select 'yes' it tells me
that it cannot activate it and that it is activated up to the limit of the
key-code.

Nothing works.

You should get a new key-code -- sounds like the one you got is already in
use somewhere (or at least the activation system thinks it is).

Not very useful Ben MVP! This code comes automatically from Microsoft by
email. They do not support the trial so where am I supposed to get one? It is
a point though. I requested a keycode three times and was awarded the same
code each time! Could it be that Microsoft made an error!

Any other bright ideas?

I solved my problem after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with Tech Support. It
seems that the website was broken for a while and was not dishing out the
right information. Yesterday it was OK and I did a fresh download. Instead of
the email I got last time the key-code appeared on a secure web page with
another code you have to enter as well.

After I did that, it all worked OK.
