I can not find PRO.MSI on the Office XP Pro Special Edition CD

I have downloaded SP 2 and during installation, it asks
for the location of PRO.MSI I put the OfficeXP
Professional Special Edition CD in the dive and still get
the 'Where is the PRO.MSI.?" I looked at the CD and
there is a file folder, MSI, however, I can not open it,
and the intallation program still generatest the message,
where is PRO.MSI. I need help on this on.!!

I have the same problem as you have.
during installation of office xp professional it asks
where is the pro.msi?
it drives me nuts, because i don't think the cd is
damaged or something like that.
can you help me.

You need to recache the local installation of Office. There is a technet
article on it and the article give a command line string to use. I don't
have it handy but if you can't find the article send me an email and I'll
post it.
