I can not open an excel file from an excel folder. I keep gettin.

I am getting a Signature error report every time I try to open a excel file
from a excel folder. The pop-up asks if i want to send an error report to
microsoft.
Can you assist?

Also, i had copied these folders from another and put on cd and then
transfered to this computer. Now, i can not open
