I can recieve messages, but I can't send.

I'm using Outlook 2000. When I try to send email, I get the error message
"TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server......
error number(0x800ccc0f)", but I can receive mail. I'm using the same
server for both tasks, don't know what to do??
