I can record a macro, but it won't run. why not?

I want to run a macro that replaces text in one font with another font and
color. I'm using Microsoft office 2003 Word for students and teachers. I've
been able to do this with other versions of office word. The steps of the
macro work when recording as well. But when it's finished, it will not run
when I press the toolbar button. Thanks!

You can't find it?

It turns all of your text green?

You tell it to run and nothing happens?

Check you macro security level. It needs to be set to medium, not high.

You could also paste your macro here into a message. Sometimes the macro recorder adds some nonsense that causes the macro not to find anything.
In special: If your recorded macro has some lines with something about ".Borders" in them, delete those lines.
