I can send e-mails, but cannot receive e-mails in Outlook 2002

My wife and I set up our Outlook 2002 using the instructions at Charter.net's
website. She sent me an email and I received it at my work email address.
When I replied she didn't receive it Outlook but in our Charter webmail
inbox. Any suggestions? Charter was no help - they said to call Microsoft.

Your Charter Inbox _is_ the Inbox from which Outlook will pull mail (to its
own local Inbox) if you've configured it correctly. Did you wife perform a
send/receive in Outlook?

Brian - No, we did not do a Send/Receive. Didn't know that we had to.
However, I just now did one and it brought in all her mail. Is this
something she is going to have to do on a regular basis or is there something
in Outlook 2002 that will just automatically do that? If she has to, that's
ok, I just thought if there was a setting to automatically do that, it would
be simpler. - Scott

While viewing the Inbox, press Alt-Ctrl-S. On the dialogue that appears
you'll see a checkbox labeled "Schedule an automatic send/receive every"
followed by a field in which you can enter a time. Check that box and enter
"10" in the time field. Outlook will then perforem a send/.receive for you
every ten minutes. It is usually unwise to use a value much less than ten.
