Sounds like a corrupt Word DataKey

Thomas, can't move text cursor guy

I have the same problem as above. I can click on the file button and the
formatting toolbars but not in the actual document or the scroller or the
ruler. I tried reinstalling word 07 but that didn't help. I am not overly
good at registry changes so if you know how to fix it through there i would
GREATLY appreciate instructions. I am running Vista.

Hi Thomas,

If you're sure that removing the datakey in the registry is something you want to do (i.e. already checked that there isn't a
problem with an add-in that isn't in a Word 2007 compatible version) then the steps in this article may help.

Note that when you delete that key that you may want to revisit
Office Button=>Word Options
to check your settings next time you start Word as the datakey does contain some of the selections from there.
