I cannot access the advanced properties in my archive folder.

I want to access my advanced properties to take off my password access to my
archive files. Many of my archive files seem to be the same and I would like
to delete the duplicates that are viewed in my folder list but I can't. The
main reason for doing this is my backup software from Iomega for my REV drive
will not back up my system. I think the reason for this is that some of my
archive files are password protected. This is why I want to access the files
so that I can remove the password protection.

You'll need to open each one in Outlook. Once you do that, you can access the properties of the root folder.
