I cannot get Outlook to update me when I assign a task to someone

I've read the messages by other who are having similar problems. By the way
I cannot accept task any more either. I cannot find KB892843 update on my
computer as an installed upate, yet I've installed all the updates. Is there
another problem that could cause this update to not appear on the list?
