I cannot get the Microsoft Service Pack 3 to install.

I have seen several postings describing the same problem with installation.
Is there a resolution to this problem yet.

You may be experiencing the same situation I did when attempting to install
SP 3. If you don't have Office installed, there is no need for 3. (I think,
and hope).
