I cannot get the old sound file out of my slide show presentation

I have deleted all the icons on my slide show and added a new sound file. Now
they both play and I cannot get the old one to stop. I did not create this
presentation so I don't know if maybe there is some ulterior way of finding
where I can delete this music. It's driving me up the wall. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Hi Peggy,

The easiest way would be to save the presentation as an HTML web page (trust
me). Close PowerPoint

Open the FOLDER of the html contents in windows explorer, locate the
unwanted sound file, delete it.

Open PowerPoint, open the html version of your presentation, save as a new
PPT file

The sound is now gone.
