I have a problem trying to restore an archive file in Outlook.
I am running Microsoft Outlook 2007 on a Windows Vista machine.
My archive.pst file is located in
C:\Users\Myname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook and has a file size of 933Mb
or 1,036,141,568 bytes.
I have tried to import the file using the following methods:
File/Open/Outlook Data
File/Import And Export/Oulook/Import from another program or file/Personal
folder file (,pst)
File/Data File Management.../Add
Each of the above methods will add archived folders in to the folder list,
but all the folders are empty; all my archived emails are not visible.
I have run scanost.exe and this is the report I received which was dumped
into my Deleted Items folder in Outlook:
11:28:14 Beginning offline folder file integrity check.
11:28:14 Performing initial synchronization.
11:28:14 Synchronizer Version 12.0.6315
