I cannot link a project file to my resource pool

When I go to Tools | Resource Sharing
Share Reources, the only option I have is to "Use Own Resources". Everything
else is greyed out. I have set up my resource pool file. I am able to connect
other projects to it.

Any ideas?

In order to connect a new file to a resource pool file you will need to
have the resource pool file open.

You will need to have both the resource pool file and the target project file
open at the same time. With two files open, Project will allow you to assign
the resource pool file to your target project file.
