I cannot paste from Office Clipboard in Word 2003

I'm copying from Word documents to the Office Clipboard (OC). But when I get
done with the copying and I create a new document where I want to dump
everything I've copied, I click on Paste All and nothing happens.

I can see all the text I've copied to the OC, but the only command that
works is Clear All.

What is going on? Why can't I Paste All from the OC? Thank you.
