I cannot see what I'm typing in an email message

I was doing fine until today, and for some reason when I'm typing I cannot
see the results. The numbers/characters are invisible and I have no idea why
or how to fix.

I'm having the same problem. By any chance did you get some help from
Microsoft tech support where they took over your computer through an online
meeeting?

No, but the problem is resolved somehow. I went to "tools", then "font", and
made it black, as for some reason it had reverted to clear font, which I
didn't do. Had to do this several times, but it has finally taken and
remained. Who knows what really happened?
