I cannot send or receive emails

I downloaded my emails on Thursday and it went through the process of
receiving 33 emails. They did not go into my inbox! Also, when I try to
access my inbox I get a message saying outlook.pst is in use and could not be
accessed. Close any application that is using this file. I do not have any
other applications open and am not sure how my outlook can be open anywher
else.

Any suggestions. I have tried for three days to solve the problem.

How many instances of Outlook are running in Task Manager? Have you tried
Office Detect and Repair? A new mail profile?

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
