It sounds like your keyboard layout has been altered from the standard
QWERTY to that of another language or possibly Dvorak layout. Check in
Control Panel > Regional Settings.
If you have trouble please let us know what Windows version you are running.
If the problem only occurs with Office products then let us know that
version too.
