I cannot successfully install Office 2003 updates - Windows SP2

I have Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Office Professional 2003 - were
installed when I got my PC in July. I can install Windows updates, but I have
2 Office 2003 updates that were unable to be installed - after several tries.
Contacted the PC support company (dell) to help with this, and it didn't work
either.

One of the updates is a Office 2003 Service pack 2 and the other is a Office
2003 update (KB907417) - both cannot be installed completely after several
tries.

what can I do?

The install of Office Professional that you got with the computer was it a Trial Edition or a full retail edition?

If it was a Trial Edition it will not Update since it has probably expired. If it was not then can you post the error that is generated when the install fails.
