I cannot use anymore Word 2007

3 days ago, I was going to open a document that I have been working for
months and the recovery plane appears with that document. If I click on it it
crashes and the Word doc is not responding.

If I try to open any other Word document, the same happens (same pane and
crash).
Excel works fine.

Do you have any suggestion what should I do?

PD: I bought Microsoft office from a microsoft web (ultimate steal) and they
did not give me any CD (it is a download version).

thanks, the recovery pane dissapeared, but if I open a word document, again
it is non responding. the only way Word works now is when I type the winword
thing in 'run' and open a document from there.
