I cannot use the left-right mose botton in WORD

Hello, my PC was re-started after installing an application, but a word
document was opened when that occured, so then the mouse is now inactive when
I try to work in my document.. how can I fix it?
thanks a lot in advance... I neet to finish something asap, but I can't..
