Is your "copy" a full version, or an update?
Do you have another office version installed? (Trial, OEM, etc)
What is the source for the key? (The correct key should be on (with) the
copy of office accounting pro)

Generally, when things don't work with a valid copy and key--
A trial version is installed, and needs to be uninstalled.
An installed version has patches applied that make the "higher" version of
office an "earlier" version, so it has to be uninstalled, or at least rolled
back to the same or earlier rev level as the "higher" version copy to be
installed.

The key you actually used is actually the one for the ops system. (usually
from a sticker on the computer)

There also can be some strangeness when a system was shipped with an OEM
installed version of office and the ops system.
In this case, there may be more than two keys-- One used by the OEM, and one
that is for the user to use when/if a reinstall is needed. Since office and
the ops system are seperate, at least two keys exist for a given system.
It's possible to misread the key such as 8 for B, 1 for I, etc.
You may end up calling microsoft to resolve the validation issue.
